Legacy-Pic

Legacy is not a word we take lightly at Star Fisheries.

Founded in 1921 on the Port of Los Angeles and still family owned and operated, Star Fisheries, Inc.’s heritage runs as deep as the oceans waters.

In 1946, Neno DiMaggio joined his father-in-law at Star Fisheries, and grew the business exponentially through immense dedication and loyal service to his customers – a trademark of the Star Fisheries legacy today. Neno’s son Anthony began working at the family business when he was just 17 years old, and took over as President in 1983. Anthony’s wife, and seafood industry veteran Jolene DiMaggio now serves as President of Star Fisheries, proudly carrying on the legacy of her husband and father-in-law before her. Clearly, family is an integral part of the Star legacy. In 1952, Louie Bozanich Sr. joined Neno at the company, and his grandson, and namesake Louie, is the third generation calling Star home. And at Star, we celebrate the legacy of seafood itself…this beautiful source of healthy and delicious goodness. Our depth of knowledge and passion for seafood is unparalleled and we welcome you to share in it with us. It is our mission to make seafood a part of YOUR life and lifestyle. At Star Fisheries, it is our sincerest hope to leave this as our lasting legacy.
